What Starter gives you
Starter is the whole agency, built and branded for you, with no ongoing claim on your clients. It is the right tier if you are comfortable having sales conversations yourself and want to keep the full margin on what you sell.
The platform, in full
Every tier gets all of this. The tiers differ only in how much of the selling and delivering we do alongside you, never in what the software can do.
The Smart Business Brain
The part that makes the rest worth having. It learns each client's business - from their website, their documents and every interaction - and feeds that understanding to every other service. The receptionist, the chatbot, the review responses and the marketing all draw on the same memory, so they get better at that client the longer they run.
Services you sell to clients
- AI receptionist: answers calls around the clock, records and transcribes them, raises job tickets and invoices
- Chatbot Creation and Integration Tool
- AI social media: Instagram and Meta publishing, caption and image generation, ads and insights
- Review and reputation: AI review responses, review analysis, smart timing, QR codes, table tents and wallet passes
- WhatsApp and SMS messaging, both AI-handled
- Booking and calendar integration
- AI Persona and audience modelling
- Content agents: ad copy, email campaigns, landing pages, lead magnets, content calendar and competitor intelligence
- Lead follow-up and reactivation automations

How the wholesale model works
You buy each service from us at a wholesale rate and sell it on at whatever price your market supports. We do not set your prices and we do not take a share of clients you win on your own.
As an illustration: you might sell an AI receptionist to a local business for £199 a month. You pay us £69 a month wholesale, plus usage. The £130 difference is your gross margin on that client, before your own costs.
A website chatbot might sell at £149 a month against a wholesale rate of £40 to £60, depending on configuration.
These figures illustrate the wholesale model. They are not a projection. What you charge, how many clients you win and what any of it is worth to you depend entirely on your market and your own sales activity.
Who Starter suits
Owners who have sold something before, or who are confident they will be able to. You are not left without help - support, training and the sales material are all included - but you run the client conversations.
If the part that worries you is what to say when a prospect is interested, AI Agency Partner exists for exactly that.
Questions
The things people actually ask
Including the awkward ones. If your question is not here, ask the chatbot or send it to us directly.
The business
A working AI services agency, set up under your own brand. That means a branded website written to sell AI services to local businesses, a configured AI receptionist capability, a website chatbot, a library of automations, three ready-made service packages, the sales material to take them to market, and a platform to manage clients and leads.
You are buying the setup and the technology. You are not buying customers, and you are not buying a guarantee of income.
No. There is no franchise agreement, no territory fee, no revenue share and no commission on what you sell. You are not required to use our name - the agency trades as your business.
No. There are no modules to work through before you can sell anything. Training and guidance are included because you will need to know how the technology works, but the agency itself is built and configured for you rather than explained to you.
Yes. The business name, logo, domain and website are yours. Nothing is co-branded with us, and we do not appear to your clients.
Yes. You choose the name during onboarding and we build the brand around it. If you would like help deciding, we can make suggestions, but the decision is yours.
Yes. You can connect a domain you already own, or register a new one. We handle the technical connection during launch.
No. This is the most important question on this page and we will not be vague about it: finding clients is your job. We supply ideal customer profiles, recommended niches, a prospecting framework, outreach and email scripts, a proposal template, a pitch deck and working demonstrations - but you have to do the selling.
No. We do not guarantee customers, revenue or earnings, and we would treat any company in this market that does with considerable suspicion. What you earn depends on your pricing, your sales activity, your market, your retention and how much effort you put in.
Yes. The kit is built with UK local businesses in mind - the language, the pricing and the examples - but nothing prevents you selling elsewhere. Bear in mind that call and messaging costs, and data protection rules, differ by country and are your responsibility.
Technology
Software that answers a business phone number, holds a natural conversation with the caller, answers common questions using knowledge you configure, captures the caller's details and the reason for the call, and passes it on. It is designed for the times a business genuinely cannot answer: on site, with a client, or out of hours.
It sits on a website and answers visitor questions using knowledge configured for that business. It can qualify enquiries, recommend the right service, capture contact details and prompt for an appointment. The chatbot on this site is the same technology - you can use it right now before deciding anything.
The chatbot is our own: it answers from a knowledge base built for each business, using retrieval so replies come from that business's real content rather than generic AI guesswork. The assistant on this site runs on exactly the same system your clients would get.
No. Everything is configured through the platform interface. You will need to be comfortable using web-based software - if you can manage an email marketing tool or a CRM, you will manage this.
Where the underlying voice provider supports call transfer, yes - you can configure a fallback number so certain calls are passed to a person. Exact behaviour depends on the provider connected to your platform, and we will confirm what is available before you rely on it.
It can capture appointment requests in every configuration. Direct calendar booking depends on connecting a supported calendar and on the provider's capabilities. We will not promise a client-facing booking feature that the underlying provider does not actually support.
It says so, rather than inventing one. It is configured to acknowledge the limit, capture the caller's details, and pass the question to a human. A confident wrong answer is far more damaging to a local business than an honest "I will get someone to call you back".
That depends on how each client is configured and on the provider in use. Where recording is enabled, the business is responsible for informing callers and for complying with UK data protection law. We will point you at what you need to do, but the legal obligation sits with the business operating the line.
Available integrations depend on your plan and on the third-party services you connect. We will confirm exactly what is available before you commit, rather than listing logos you might not be able to use.
Costs
It covers the work of turning a template into your business: brand setup, the agency website built and written, service and package configuration, chatbot setup and training, receptionist setup and demo capability, the automation library connected, sales assets prepared, launch configuration and onboarding.
It is a one-off fee for a one-off piece of work.
Because you are not buying a file, you are using a running platform. The subscription covers hosting, the management tools, the chatbot and receptionist management layer, ongoing technology updates, the automation library and support. If we stopped charging it, the technology would stop being maintained.
It is not a licence fee for permission to trade - you can sell whatever you like, at whatever price you like, without paying us a share.
Yes, and we would rather tell you now. Some services cost money each time they are used because we pay a third party for them: AI voice minutes for receptionist calls, SMS messages, email volume above the included limits, and certain third-party API usage. These are billed as usage or credits on top of the subscription.
You can and should factor these into what you charge your own clients.
Yes - AI voice time carries a per-minute cost from the voice provider. The rate depends on the provider and plan in use, and we will confirm the current rate before you start selling receptionist services so you can price accordingly.
No. SMS is charged per message because the networks charge us per message. Email within the included limits is covered by the subscription.
Yes. The platform subscription can be cancelled in line with the subscription terms. We do not use minimum-term lock-ins as a retention strategy.
If your website is hosted on our platform it stops being hosted when the subscription ends. Your domain remains yours, and your content and client data can be exported. We will tell you exactly what is exportable before you commit, not after you try to leave.
Services delivered through the platform - receptionist, chatbot, automations - stop working when the subscription ends. This matters, because your clients depend on them. If you are considering cancelling, talk to us first so there is a sensible transition rather than services failing without warning.
Selling
Local businesses that lose money when they cannot answer the phone or follow up quickly. Trades, garages, salons, estate agents, driving instructors, cleaners and professional services are the obvious starting points. The kit includes recommended niches and the reasoning behind them.
Whatever your market will pay. The packages come with suggested pricing based on what these services commonly sell for, but they are a starting point rather than a rule - you set your own prices and keep the whole amount.
Yes, as a framework: suggested setup and monthly figures for each package, and guidance on where usage costs need to be covered. It is guidance based on the market, not a guarantee of what anyone will pay you.
Yes. Proposal templates, a presentation deck, outreach copy for email and LinkedIn, discovery questions, demo scripts, objection handling notes and a client onboarding checklist.
No, but you do need to be willing to sell. The technical side is handled; the commercial side is not. If the idea of contacting local businesses and having sales conversations is something you would avoid, this will not work for you regardless of how good the technology is.
Yes. Many buyers add websites to the AI services, and existing web designers often find the recurring AI services are what change their business rather than the sites themselves.
Support
Support with the platform, the technology and configuration is included in the subscription. A person answers support requests. We will help you understand how to configure something; we will not make sales calls to your clients for you.
Yes, and it is included rather than sold as an upgrade. Onboarding covers the platform walkthrough, how each service is configured, and how to run a demonstration for a prospect.
Platform updates are applied for you as part of the subscription. You do not need to update anything or migrate between versions.
Yes. Getting the first client live correctly matters more than almost anything else, so we will help you through that first configuration. After that most people find they can do it themselves.
No questions match that search. Try a different word, or just ask us directly.
Still not answered?
Stop planning your AI agency. Start with one that's already built.
Your agency website, AI receptionist, chatbot, automations, service packages and sales resources can all start from the same connected system. You still have to build the customer base. You just don't have to build everything else first.
